Favorite Summer Pieces

Last summer I tried the capsule wardrobe, and I wasn't the biggest fan. I was very style uninspired at the time and for a capsule wardrobe to really work you need to have tons of style inspiration so you can consistently wear new and inventive outfits.

Throughout this year I have gone through waves of just wanting to throw on what is in front of me, to fully planning intense weekly outfit regimens so I have really been all over the place on the fashion spectrum.

That is why I am putting this post together, to give my readers a general outline of different pieces that are great to have on hand for this summer, no matter which side of the fashion range you are on. I will be listing tops, bottoms and accessories that all go with each other and are present in some form in all closets.

Outfit examples:

  • White tank, levis, heels, baguette (out to dinner look)

  • Green top, white jeans, mules, tote (day with friends look)

  • Paisley top, jean skirt, converse, beach bag (pool or beach look)

Everything goes with everything, if I were to try a capsule wardrobe again, this would be doing it right.

I hope this post had some good summer style inspiration, as always, thank you for reading !

(note, most if not all of these items are thrifted or from my moms closet :))
